A Bit About Me

Tamiska Jones is a distinguished United States Navy veteran, who hails from the city of Inkster, Michigan, and is currently making her home in Sacramento, California. Having navigated the challenges of growing up in the foster care system traveling became a part of who she is. Tamiska embarked on a transformative journey in California, where she has dedicated herself to making a meaningful impact in her community and family. She is a single parent of three awesome young men. Calvin L Davis II, LaBrandon S. Jones and Jordan D. Simmons along with 13 grandchildren to add to the jd's corner family legacy.

With a strong commitment to understanding the needs, wants, and desires of those around her, Tamiska has established herself as a prominent figure within her community. She serves in multiple roles; Resource and Referral Specialist, Transformational Life Coach, Consultant, Speaker, and more. These experiences culminated in her founding a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable populations. In 2026, she expanded her reach by becoming the founder and owner of Reach2Engage Coaching Services, LLC, where she offers tailored coaching programs designed to help individuals and groups "Engage in your Transformation". to restore, repair and rebuild their personal, spiritual and professional goals.

As the CEO and Founder of The Jones and Davis Resource & Referral Family Outreach Corner, Tamiska plays a crucial role in bridging gaps between businesses and the community. Through her initiatives in coaching, networking, and outreach, she actively fosters collaboration and support, helping to strengthen both local enterprises, faith based organizations,veterans and the families they serve. Her work exemplifies her dedication to uplifting those around her and creating a more connected and thriving community.

Tamiska has dedicated her career to working independently with a variety of organizations, including Volunteers of America, Kaiser Permanente, the Health Education Council, and The Exodus Group, Transcendent Life Coach, Institute, Decatur, Georgia and more. Her efforts center around community restoration, focusing specifically on providing support for single-parent families and tackling various challenges related to human services. She has managed to provide resources through eleven states and two international. JD'S Corner is continuing it's efforts to help provide a source of hope and safe havens around the world.

In her commitment to uplifting her community, Tamiska collaborates with faith-based organizations, offering essential resources and actively participating in community events to foster engagement and connection. Since 2015, she has also been serving as a Minister of the Gospel, sharing her faith and inspiring others through her teachings and outreach efforts.

Tamiska is passionate about providing a source of hope through prayer, a listening ear, and helping others.
